This Feeling is You

A hypnotic journey into the depths of you. Where music becomes medicine and every listen takes you somewhere new.

“It is Magic.” Jemima Kirke

“Spellbinding, it calmed me, I recommend it.” Matt Haig, Author

This Feeling Is You is a seven-chapter journey into trance and reflection, where music and hypnosis merge to transform emotion into power and pain into trust. It is more than sound. It is healing art where electronic music, subconscious rewiring and self-development meet. Each chapter opens a doorway to hidden potential, resilience and deeper self-awareness. Innovation becomes medicine. Every note carries the promise of renewal.

Conceived in 2017, This Feeling Is You draws on a wide constellation of influences. Rooted in Boston's clinical background as a hypnotherapist, the project channels spiritual and metaphysical traditions including ancient wisdom, shamanism, magick, cymatics, sound science, numerology, ritual and poetry, alongside the collective expression found in works like The Kybalion and even social media. In collaboration with Barcelona-based electronic duo Desert, these threads were woven into a meditative ambient suite where spoken word, controlled tones, oscillating rhythms and sung vocals intertwine with hypnotic suggestion to create a soundscape both expansive and intimate.

The Chapters

How to Listen

For the fullest experience, begin with the album in sequence, from The Beginning through to The Awakening. Once familiar, choose how you listen:

  • Breathing: Sit or lie comfortably, breathe in for 4 counts, hold for 4, release for 6. Make your out-breath longer than your in-breath to slow your heart rate and soften tension. Relax your shoulders, soften your eyes and face and find your own rhythm with the music.

  • Movement or dancing: Stand up and follow what your body wants to do. Shake your hands, roll your shoulders, sway. After a few listens, try with your eyes open, let your visual field expand and soften into your periphery. Raise your hands to the sky, palms open, to collect and receive energy.

  • Resting: Lie down, palms open and upwards, and simply receive. Try not to fall fully asleep. If you do, listen earlier in the day. Even if you drift off, your subconscious is absorbing and you will still be responding to the suggestions.

  • Visualising: Close your eyes and let images, colours or feelings arise naturally. If images come easily, follow them. If not, focus on sound, feeling or simply knowing. Anchor a symbol, phrase or image in line with your intention, make it big and bright, and carry it into your day.

Each track has a specific function, click the chapters above to explore them. All reaffirm growth, trust, and connection.

Before You Press Play

Set an intention. Create a quiet space, light a candle or diffuser if you wish, stretch your body and arrive in it. Keep an open and curious mind. If thoughts interrupt, acknowledge them and let them pass, like visitors. This work is safe, intentional, and keeps you fully in control. You will not lose yourself. You will wake up more you.

After Listening

This Feeling is You is likely to stir energy that wants to move, let it. Dance, stretch, shake. Then turn inward. Write or draw what came up. Ask yourself:

What was revealed to me?

What action brings me closer to my highest intention?

Reading aloud or sharing with a trusted friend can anchor it. Change comes not through passivity, but through active reflection, patience, and kindness.

Safety Note

Listen only when you can fully relax in a safe environment. Do not use while driving, operating machinery, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Do not listen if you have been diagnosed with narcolepsy, epilepsy, schizophrenia, psychotic episodes, or certain psychiatric conditions. This work is not a substitute for medical advice. If you feel discomfort, open your eyes, breathe deeply and return to the present. You are always in control.

A Reminder

This Feeling is You is not a quick fix. It is a practice of returning, listening, and surrendering. Each time you listen, you strengthen the part of you that trusts life, that trusts yourself. Change is inevitable. Your power lies within.
