Even though you might not hear about it very frequently, agoraphobia is one of the most common anxiety disorders.

 

It is known as a fear of being in open spaces or leave your house, but agoraphobia is much more complex than that. It usually presents as a collection of interlinked conditions that look differently in each person.

 

This can vary from fear of being in a place with not an easy way out, to fear of being in open spaces. Sometimes is a general anxiety where the person can’t pinpoint what is the reason for feeling afraid.
