What Is An Addiction?
An addiction is an obsessive, uncontrollable and often damaging attachment to an activity, behaviour or substance. It now triggers the dependent response it has adopted in those moments you find yourself needing to change your state and make something in you feel temporarily better.
The most common being a dependency on alcohol, smoking, drugs, porn, gambling and social media, addictions can range widely from sex and love addictions to more unusual specific, addictions like only consuming peanut butter or eating rubber.
So How Does Hypnotherapy Help Your Addiction?
This is because imagination is more powerful than will and allows you to resolve the cause of the issue, question your subconscious and establish what it was that first got you addicted.
